Waste Water Treatment
Synthetic polymeric flocculants/polyelectrolyte's are large water molecules made up of small building block called monomers. These materials react with the colloidal materials in the effluent water to formulation of floc. Wastewater additives are polyelectrolytes, decolourizer, cultured bacteria and defonmer to maintain desired wastewater parameter, Flocculants do not add soleds and also do not effect the pH of water unlike coagulants and alkali .
Effluent/sewage treatments program consist of complte removal of pollutant and properly maintaining BOD, COD, MLSS and other desired parameters in wastewater. Less or compact sludge should be produced to minimize sludge handling and disposal cost.
